TAPtiming Race Series Challenge.

Boy, do we have a wealth of local (and localish) running choices.

I thought we could have some fun with this.
Here is a TAPtiming Race Series Challenge.

Everyone starts with 5000 points.

1) For each event you participate in, subtract 1000 points.

2) For a timed event, add your placement.

3) For untimed events, do not add anything. Just do the subtraction of 1000 points.

4) You can count up to 5 events towards your points. You can update your choices in order to pick your best 5 events.

5) Participants are ranked from lowest points to highest points.

What do you get?
Bragging rights,
plus cool prizes awarded through a few random draws and for leaders on the board. (male and female)

How does it work?

1) Participate in an event.

2) Have fun.

3) After the event:

– Email Rod@TAPtiming.ca the event you participated in and your placement (if timed).

– Your points will be updated and posted (https://taptiming.ca/ind…/taptiming-race-series-challenge/).

– Participants responsible for submitting their own results to be counted.

Example #1:
Entered Ranney Gorge and came in 15th.
5000-1000+15=4015

Example #2:
Entered Rainbow run, an untimed event.
5000-1000=4000

Example #3:
Entered Ranney Gorge and came in 15th.
Entered Rainbow run, an untimed event.
5000-1000+15=4015
4015-1000= 3015

Count up to 5 events for the Points Series. You may update what 5 events you want counted at anytime.
